RoHS Declaration of Conformity generator

Electrical and electronic equipment in the scope of Directive 2011/65/EU must be covered by an EU declaration of conformity before the CE marking is affixed, and the manufacturer keeps it with the technical documentation for ten years after the equipment is placed on the market. This free generator follows the model in Annex VI point by point. Two things about that model are worth knowing before you sign: point 3 names the installer alongside the manufacturer, which the CE model does not, and point 5 cites this Directive and only this Directive — so a RoHS declaration is not the place to list other acts.

The declaration attests to an assessment you have already made. The substance restrictions in Annex II, the exemptions in Annexes III and IV, the internal production control of Module A, and the technical documentation are separate obligations and this tool does not check any of them. Article 13(3) allows a single declaration covering several Union acts; this one follows Annex VI alone, so use the EU Declaration of Conformity generator if you need a combined document.
