Lifts Declaration of Conformity generator

A lift and a safety component for lifts each need an EU declaration of conformity before the CE marking goes on. Annex II sets out two different models: Part A for safety components, drawn up by the manufacturer, and Part B for lifts, drawn up by the installer. This free generator follows whichever you choose, in the words the Directive uses — fourteen lettered points in each, with the signature block inside them rather than after them. What changed since: Directive (EU) 2024/2749 has applied since 30 May 2026, adding emergency conformity-assessment procedures — it leaves Annex II untouched.

The declaration attests to an assessment you have already made. The essential health and safety requirements in Annex I, the conformity assessment procedures in Annexes IV to XII and the technical documentation are separate obligations and this tool does not check any of them. Annex II asks for all relevant provisions with which the product complies, so one declaration can name other acts alongside this Directive. It does not tell you which act applies to your product, nor whether you are the manufacturer or the installer for its purposes. Informational only, not legal advice.
