Simple pressure vessels Declaration of Conformity generator

A simple pressure vessel — welded, series-manufactured, holding air or nitrogen above 0,5 bar and not intended to be fired — must be covered by an EU declaration of conformity before the CE marking goes on. Annex IV sets out its model structure. This free generator follows those eight points in the words the Directive uses.

The declaration attests to an assessment you have already made. The essential requirements and the conformity assessment procedures Directive 2014/29/EU sets out are separate obligations and this tool does not check any of them. Point 5 leaves the Union harmonisation legislation open, so one declaration can cover other acts alongside this one. It does not tell you which act applies to your product.
