Gas appliances Declaration of Conformity generator

An appliance burning gaseous fuels, and a fitting intended to be incorporated into one, must each be covered by an EU declaration of conformity before the CE marking goes on. Annex V sets out its model structure. This free generator follows those nine points in the words the Regulation uses — nine, not eight, because point 8 carries the instruction that applies to fittings alone. What changed since: Regulation (EU) 2024/2748 has applied since 29 May 2026, adding emergency conformity-assessment procedures — it leaves Annex V untouched.

The declaration attests to an assessment you have already made. The risk categories in Annex I, the essential health and safety requirements in Annex II, the conformity assessment procedures in Annexes V to VIII and the technical documentation are separate obligations and this tool does not check any of them. Point 5 leaves the Union harmonisation legislation open, so one declaration can cover other acts alongside this one. It does not tell you which act applies to your product.
