Pyrotechnic articles Declaration of Conformity generator

A pyrotechnic article — a firework, a theatrical article, an automotive article such as an airbag or seatbelt initiator, or any other pyrotechnic article — must be covered by an EU declaration of conformity before the CE marking goes on. Annex III sets out its model structure, and it is the only model in this family whose first point is the registration number the notified body assigned under Article 9. This free generator follows those nine points in the words the Directive uses.

The declaration attests to an assessment you have already made. The essential requirements and the conformity assessment procedures Directive 2013/29/EU sets out are separate obligations and this tool does not check any of them. Point 6 leaves the Union harmonisation legislation open, so one declaration can cover other acts alongside this one. It does not tell you which act applies to your product.
