PPE Declaration of Conformity generator

Personal protective equipment must be covered by an EU declaration of conformity before the CE marking goes on, and the declaration accompanies the equipment or is reachable at an internet address supplied with it. Article 15 requires it and Annex IX sets out its model structure. This free generator follows those nine points in the words the Regulation uses — nine, not eight, because PPE splits the notified body across two of them. What changed since: Regulation (EU) 2024/2748 has applied since 29 May 2026, adding emergency conformity-assessment procedures — it leaves Annex IX untouched.

The declaration attests to an assessment you have already made. The risk categories in Annex I, the essential health and safety requirements in Annex II, the conformity assessment procedures in Annexes V to VIII and the technical documentation are separate obligations and this tool does not check any of them. Point 5 leaves the Union harmonisation legislation open, so one declaration can cover other acts alongside this one. It does not tell you which act applies to your product.
